42 mm vs 46 mm for long sighted

Hi there,

I've got a Moto 360 2nd gen 42 mm since November

I chose the small diameter 42 mm as I feared the 46 mm were too big for my relatively small wrist (unfortunately I had no way of trying them before buying from Amazon).

Now I'm in doubt I made a bad choice...

As I'm becoming long sighted getting older (...), maybe the 46 mm with its bigger screen makes reading small carachters easier (e.g. the date in the original "Digital" Motorola watch face).

Anybody had a chance of comparing both the screens and give me some hints?
