Pardon me if this has been discussed, I couldn't find anything on it other than a couple blurbs in the Megatech discussion. I received my unlocked 10 this week and let me say I love this phone. Its damn near exactly what I wanted to see from HTC. However, I was disturbed when I walked outside with my sunglasses on and the screen completely blacked out in portrait mode. I like couldn't see the home screen or the icons on it. The phone was completely unusable. In landscape it looks fine. This is a huge issue for me as I am an avid fisherman and am on the water quite a bit and wear polarized glasses exclusively for visibility reasons and health reasons (eye surgery). I looked around and found this video that describes the issue in detail.

I have a Tianma panel and have been seeing that there are Sharp panels out there too. I guess what I am wondering is if there is a difference in the panels or a workaround for this issue because as it stands now I am going to have to return this phone which is a huge bummer because it is really a great phone. I'm really surprised that HTC polarized it this way. My M9 had this issue too, but it was in landscape mode which is much more manageable. So as of right now I'm super bummed with the display.....
