Hi. I've been a loyal user of Galaxy Note 2 since the day it was first released in the UK (October 2012). Sadly, I had to get another device 6 months ago as Note 2 was no longer supported in terms of software (I had software security concerns) and I went for a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. However, I kept using my Note 2 now and then, mostly as my alarm clock and often as a second small tablet, and there were no sudden freezes or restarts or any kind of slowing down whatsoever. A couple of weeks ago, I saw that Samsung released a newer Kitkat build for the Middle East region with all the Stagefright issues solved and the March 2016 Security Patches applied. I immediately flashed that ROM. However, the issues I mentioned earlier (slowing down, freezing) started to come up. Although I was happier in terms of security, I couldn't bear the problems and flashed the UK stock ROM and did a reset again. However, the problems are still persisting. I haven't got much app s on it either. Social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Whatsapp, Viber, Instagram etc. Have I done anything wrong during the times I was flashing the software you reckon? I almost get the user experience I got from the first gen Galaxy S phone on Android Gingerbread now. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of these problems? I am thinking of giving it to my mum until the prices of Galaxy S7s decrease in the upcoming months, she's currently using a Galaxy S2 i9100 so Note 2 would be a much better phone for her for the mean time until I can get a S7 for her, ONLY if I can solve the freezing problems of course. Any suggestions?
