Screen Flicker

I have got stuck with a strange problem with m8, My screen flickers continuously making it impossible to use, from display display to blue green pink tints and abrupt screen off. Initially I thought this is an hardware problem but this problem does appear in boot up htc animations and on lock screen where it is perfectly clear and sometimes the power button also does not turn the screen on, Once I unlock it the battering starts. And also I can boot into bootloader mode and recovery with absolutely no flicker whatsoever. I have tried with various roms[ Even stock] but it is still the same :rolleyes::(

However this problem started when I dropped my phone. I'm really confused :confused::confused::confused: , Does dropping my phone cause a software problem or is it related to hardware?
Any help guys?
