Displaying the year in the clock and customising the date in mate 8

Currently, the year is not being displayed in the clock. How can you do customization of displaying the date of the clock? for example I want to display it as follows : name of the day, day, month and the year. For example Fri 19 Feb 2016.

I meant the following format :
ddd dd MMM yyyy
