DIY Photo Booth (Great For Parties and Weddings!)

DIY Photo Booth

I had been planning my wedding for about a year. I had everything exactly the way that I wanted it and I put more than $20,000 into this thing. Imagine my disappointed when guests started to leave out of boredom! And in the middle of the ceremony! EVEN MY BRIDE! Turns out with all my planning, I didn't come up with one good idea to keep my guests entertained. That's why I'm going to share this project with you. It's a DIY photo booth!

Firs thing you'll need is an Android device with a decent camera. Choose an old device that you don't use anymore or something that you wont need through the duration of the event. Download some fun photo booth apps for your guests to pick from. PiVi & Co has some really popular ones that are sure to make people laugh so hard that they fart really loud.

Then you'll need a gadget that will let you attach your smartphone to a tripod. Something like this will work just fine.

Don't forget to pick up a Bluetooth shutter remote! This will be necessary since the phone will be stationary.

And the last thing you'll need is a wireless printer. The Canon Selphy CP1200 is a very smartphone friendly printer ad will be perfect for this project. If you already have a wireless printer, that should work find as well.

You'll want to find a place with good lighting for you to setup in. It's fairly easy to build a quick booth as well if you have the tools needed to do so. Then you're done!
