OK, I have yet to find a solution to this. I have all Calendar notifications turned off, I have all syncing turned off on all accounts, and yet, I keep getting Calendar notification on the screen. I just went into the application manager and as a last resort disabled anything with Calendar in it, to see if this resolves the issue.
I am not rooted and I am running stock OS. Any other suggestion, please advise, I'll let you all know if disabling all others have worked. :o
