I found a similar situation on a thread from 2015 which i replied to so this post may duplicate that...if so my apologies. I'm a bit distraught over the hard bricked phone in my lap...
In the process of loading a ROM on the wrong partitions through Flashfire i've completely hard bricked my Galaxy S5.
The phone is completely unresponsive--does not power on, won't connect to Odin, and will not enter download or recovery mode. It shows on the device manager on Windows 10 when connected as QHUSB_BULK. From research it appears my only option is to use image creator to create an image on an SD card then try and enter download mode.
I was using a rooted lollipop based (5.0) phone at the time of the issue. I tried an image from a thread from 2015 where someone exhibited almost identical situation and resolved it with an image from 4.4.2. Unfortunately that image did not work for me. Does anyone have a lollipop based image they'd be willing to PM or link for me?
Would really appreciate it. Very bummed on an Easter Sunday with a brick for a phone.
