Hi guys,
Before anything else, I must say that I wouldn't create this thread without searching for similar ones first. I did search and some of them contained good information but my problem wasn't exactly the same so I decided to create one of my own. Also, I own a Samsung Galaxy S3 besides my Nexus 5 so I'm no stranger at all from flashing and restoring but this matter got to me.
The story goes like this: I got my Nexus some time ago and since is a relatively "old" phone, I decided to change the battery with a new one.
I changed the battery with success but upon starting it, I get the Google logo and goes into bootloop with a very very fast flicker before looping. I flashed the stock image from Google properly, didn't get any errors but again, the phone doesn't get pass the Google logo.
I can enter bootloader without problems using Nexus Root Toolkit but I can't access recovery, even after flashing the original image or latest twrp, I just get a flicker and then goes to Google screen.
Not sure if it hard bricked because I can access the bootloader and the phone starts without being connected to the charger but I'm out of ideas of what I could do to fix this bootloop and no access to the recovery.
My opinion is that it's something software related but also could have something to do with the battery being new.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
