My Android phone thinks it's my Kindle, and my Kindle thinks it's my Android phone.

Please bear with me while I try to explain this. If I can figure out how to upload pictures, you'll be able to see what I mean, but if not, then I hope you will be able to comprehend my poor attempt at explaining this. I'm on the internet with my Fire HD6 (vs. 4.5.5.1). I've downloaded an app and several times I've gotten this message: " No carrier" and it lists the model number of my phone. I get another message on my Fire that states: *App name*requires root and will be installed on your device soon". I look on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and now there's a message telling me that the app I wanted on my Fire is now on my phone. I'm learning to manage my frustration so I'll leave it to your imagination to insert your favorite expletives :)
