Hi Guys,
I got another Note 5 (Silver this time :) ) but got N9208 model number (Dual sim) (instead of my previous one being N920C Dual).
I was wondering if:
a.) I can replace my current ROM with the Indian N9208 (Dual SIM) ROM (Through the ODIN method; keeping it stock only and not installing any custom kernel/twrp)
The Latest Indian Note 5 Dual SIM ROM being:
Model SM-N9208
Model name GALAXY Note 5
Country India
Version Android 5.1.1
Changelist 6353478
Build date Tue, 22 Dec 2015 06:40:47 +0000
Product code INS
PDA N9208XXU2AOL1
CSC N9208ODI2AOKB
b.) Are there any consequences in doing so (Like loosing any functionality/poor battery life(due to kernel issues)/Tripping KNOX)?
Seeking help with the above. Thanks in advance.
