Soft-Brick or Boot Loop:-
Pre-requirements:-
1.)Asus Drivers:http://ift.tt/29sLorz km9s
2.)Flashable Rom:-http://ift.tt/29uOJ6r
Steps:-
1.)Download the Asus Drivers in your PC and install it.
2.)In your Zenfone 5 ,Press Power + Volume Up for few sec till u Boot in fastboot mode(Bootloader) and connect it to ur PC
3.) Download Flashable Rom and Extract it somewhere in your PC and run flash_csc.bat.
4.) Press any Key 2 times and wait till the process finish or till it says Press ay key to continue
5.)Once the process is finish Reboot your system.....BINGO!!!!!!!! ur phone is in working state now but has Jelly bean.
6.)Now if u Wish to stay at Jelly bean ur done no need to do anything...But if u wish to Upgrade to Kitkat or lollipop follow Further.

Download Kitkat.zip, Boot ur phone in fastboot mode as done in step 2 and connect it to PC, Now extract kitkat.zip somewhere in ur PC and Run cmd by shift + right-click somewhere inside folder and type following command
fastboot flash recovery 2.21.40.44_ww_recovery.img
wait till it done (5sec).... later type this command
fastboot flash fastboot 2.21.40.44_ww_fastboot.img
Now in ur Zenfone go to recovery by selecting recovery (use volume butten for up down and power button to select) now press volume up and down multiple times so that a menu will come....Now select on Apply update through adb
Now go to cmd and type following command
Sideload adb UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.21.40.44-user.zip
Wait till the process ends ....
Now if u wish to stay to kitkat connect to internet and go to setting and check for update it will show update and u will get updated to latest kitkat version.......
BUT if u want to go for Lollipop DO NOT CONNECT TO INTERNET follow futher steps
Download UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.53-user.zip from here http://ift.tt/29uNTqe
in ur computer and put this file in root of ur internal storage of ur phone and reboot ur phone..after reboot notification will appear SOFTWARE UPDATE FILE FOUND click OK and wait till ur phone boot again.......Now

in ur computer and put this file in root of ur internal storage of ur phone and reboot ur phone..after reboot notification will appear SOFTWARE UPDATE FILE FOUND click OK and wait till ur phone boot again
Now connect ur phone to internet and check for update it will show update and u will get updated to latest Lollipop Version...
NOTE:- Skipping any step leads to network problem in lollipop
