Spent all day browsing through similar threads but can't for the life of me work this out.
Note II has had a number of resets and app crashes in the last few weeks, today the phone froze and on hard reset it just got stuck on the start up screen. Tried battery pull and power drain but same result. Can't boot into recovery mode. Can boot into download mode.
Downloaded cwm recovery for note2, added it to the AP section of Odin and tried to flash my device but it failed.
Initialzation..
Get PIT for mapping..
Firmware update start..
SingleDownload.
recovery.img
NAND Write Start!!
FAIL!
Complete(Write) operation failed.
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I've restarted PC, double checked drivers, tried different USB slots, but always get the same result. I'm resigned to losing all my data but just want to get a working phone back.
