How to root (not worried about Knox)

For my last month on my phone, after jumping into a pool 7 months ago, destroying my glorious rooted s5, I want to root the phone and relive the good old days, how would I root, I do not care about tripping Knox in order to obtain root. In at androi 5.1.1 and my phone is at the latest update.
