Hi,
My system partition size is 1.9GB and I am unable to update from current 7.1.6. The latest ROMs filesize are much larger and thus, the phone will bricked whenever I tried to update to newer ROMs.
I tried fastboot ROMs and the same problem persisted except 7.1.6 versions and below. Of course, CM13 worked because the ROM size is a lot smaller but the camera quality is horrible. sMIUI and xiaomi.eu ROMs do not work, resulting in bricking (hard brick- I cannot power up). The only way out is to install 7.1.6 Fastboot ROM via MiFlash.
I tried wiping and even formatting my file partitions to clean away rubbish but do not resolve the fundamental problem that the system partition size is only 1.85GB (1.5GB filled).
Any ways to format/resize my system partition?
PS: The phone is rooted and I have the latest SuperSU (2.74) and TWRP (3.0.2) installed.
