[Q] P600: AOSP/CM-based ROMs that are stable enough?

Hi all,

As can be seen from my signature, I'm a pretty big fan of CM, and it goes as far as compiling CM for all my devices that have CM13.

I just got my own P600 days ago, and unfortunately, in the process of setting it up I found out that CM on this device is incredibly frustrating. CM13 unofficial builds produce constant noticeable graphic stutters that heavily interfere with gaming; CM12.1, albeit having reached nightly status for quite some time, has the sleep-of-death problem. Both also tend to simply freeze, go blackscreen and/or simply reboot when using normally. It even happens right when I had just rebooted to desktop and opened a random app. I am a seasoned flashaholic, but I find myself unable to handle these.

With that said, I'd like to try out other ROMs, however choices are scarce, and I don't have much time for tedious setup and testing. Can anyone who has been using other ROMs confirm if any of them are stable enough as daily driver?

Or, as a backup solution, does anyone know how to make third party apps respond to the S-Pen side button under stock-based ROMs? If there are no AOSP/CM-based ROM that satisfies, I'll return to stock, but I need to make sure side button is usable so as to assign it to eraser function in Squid.

Thanks in advance for helping!
