ok so i have the S4 under verizon but its a prepaid variant running lollipop 5.0.1 I545PPVRUOH7. heres my situation, i couldnt get the stock rom to run correctly when it was deodexed. (wanted to run xposed) apps that had a lib folder with the apk would crash nonstop. so i went ahead and tried one of stang5litre's roms and followed the instructions but when using flashfire to flash it, it finished but i ended up with a hard brick. no signs of life at all. i went ahead and bought a riff box and attempted to jtag it back to life. took some time to understand where everything went but i got it. it was such a pain! anyways, it said something about a dcc loader was unable to start a flash1 chip which ive read is the emmc chip. before that error it also said i had 16 gb but 0bytes capacity. so on my research i found that flashing that rom on a prepaid variant has fried my emmc or thats what i figure cause everyones tellin me to replace the emmc chip. so now im lookin to get the equipment to get that started. however im going to have a few issues. i have looked at the hardware in the prepaid variant an it seems to be pretty much the same as the regular i545. (postpaid). so does anyone know where i can buy a 16 gb emmc card specifically for this phone? ive checked ebay and it kinda throws you in a loop. some chips say its specified for a specific phone like the S3 (no idea why it comes up when i look for a s4 chip) others it just says samsung chip. no specified size so not sure about that. so does anyone know where i can get some chips? also if they come blank (unprogrammed) does anyone know how to program the chip through the riff box? im sure you can. it lets you accesss the emmc. not sure how to go about it though. sorry about writing a book lol but im a bit of a jam with the S4 as you can see an willing to accept any help. any help is greatly appreciated.
