I have a Redmi Note 3 with Snapdragon variant here in India.
Yesterday I noticed that my phone has noticeably yellowish display as compared to my old Redmi 2. I opened the settings app on both the phones and the difference was so obvious.
And now it's really bugging me. Xiaomi has resorted to using cheap displays to keep costs low.

The brightness is about 75% on both. And increasing the brightness just makes it bright. The yellowish tint is not affected at all.
Some of you might say that one phone is running miui and other cm12.1 but yesterday I flashed aosp v4 on Redmi Note 3, so now both are running aosp derivatives and the display has not been affected at all. The yellowish tint that you see in the picture is exactly as it is. Aosp didn't make any difference.
So can you guys compare your phone with an old phone or even your friends phone and post the results? No need for pictures. Just post your observations. The best way to compare is to open setting on both the phones.
