External USB keyboard mapping for games.

I would like to play Tomb Raider II for example and I have external USB keyboard. I know that Tomb Raider II for example supports joysticks.... hot to map on screen controls or joystick controls to external keyboard? Is there any app? I have non rooted Nexus 7.... So, what are my options because on screeen controls are not very good.
