Trying to grant a root access, but no luck with 5.1.1. Guess I shouldn't have installed it in the first place. :(
To cut the story short, I am trying to run Recovery and to install some custom roms, which I do not seem to be able to do without root.
Any recommendations for how it should be done? Downgrade to 5.0.2 and then root? Any hints for where to start?
I did have a stock rooted 5.0.2 and did make a backup of it a few months ago! The problem is, I can't find a way to restore that backup, since I can't access twrp recovery anymore.
Any advice would be helpful! :)
