I noticed this with both the stock Camera app and Google Camera.
To try it, just record a video of you talking right in front of your phone, and then listen with earphones/headphones. A workaround is to convert videos with mono-sound, but then they lose the "surround" feeling.
Happens even without my silicon case. I think the left channel is handled by the secondary mic (small one near the 3.5mm jack).
Does anyone else have this issue?
