So a few days ago I got the LG G4 from a local carrier. The model number that I have is AS986. I've looked all over the place trying to see if I can root this version and and everywhere I look it doesn't say anything about this model. Could this model be rooted using the Verizon method considering that the Verizon models are VS986? I want to make sure I can root this thing using a known method before anything else so I don't brick my device. Any help will be appreciated.
