Hi,
I have the following SIM card problem with my Elephone P6000 Pro:
First of all, I'm sure that the SIM is working since I've tested it with my other devices.
In my Elephone P6000 Pro, I get asked for a PIN after boot, but then there's like no service at all, so I can't search for networks or similar, since it actually says no SIM card.
I checked with *#06#* and the original IMEIs were still there.
This happens with the stock rom and also after updating the stock rom to a newer version.
I also tried flashing other ROMs like Eragon, DCU v12.1 (AOSP) and custom kernels like the one from visi0nary but with no help.
I had the exact same problem with my Elephone P8000, but it got solved after flashing the Eragon ROM for the P8000 - it recognized my SIM right away after that.
That's why I thought that maybe installing Eragon on my P6000 Pro would solve it too, but unfortunately it didn't. Other ROMs didn't solve it either.
I do believe that this is a software problem, since I was able to solve it on my P8000 with installing another ROM.
I would really appreciate anyone's help. Thanks.
