I downloaded the newest flash file from motorola (Moto X (2nd Gen) Pure Edition: L-5.1-LPE23.32-21.3 TMO). Apparently this is not the newest stagefreight version.
I also ran mfastboot erase system -w so there is nothing on the phone at the time of flashing.
When I ran the flash commands it ended up downgrading certain partitions that cannot be downgraded. There were 2 that were downgraded, gpt and something else. I now cannot install the system.img files because I get a error that says:
(bootloader) Permission denied
FAILED (remote failure)
how bricked is this thing?
