SuperShieldz matte screen protectors

I just received the screen protectors I ordered for my Nexus 6P today. I always use regular screen protectors rather than glass (haven't had much luck with glass ones in the past). This time I decided to try out "matte finish" protectors. At the time of purchase, it sounded like a good idea because I figured it would help when in direct sunlight. After installing one, I have to say that I am not a fan of the matte finish. I haven't had a chance to see if it helps in sunlight, but in my apartment underneath a fluorescent light, it almost seems like this reflects even more light, and makes the screen seem darker than it actually is.

Just wanted to see if anyone else had tried the matte finish screen protectors before, and what their thoughts are on them. I purchased a 3 pack of them, and have 2 left over that I am probably not going to use. If anyone would like them, and are near the Charlotte area, I wouldn't mind meeting up and giving away the 2 left overs. :)

Who has tried these before? Did you like them? Did they help at all in your particular situation? I'm curious if maybe they would work they way I expected, if I had bought a more well-known company. I have used always used SuperShieldz for all of my phones, but it has always been regular crystal clear in the past.
