I am currently stuck with a S4 (T-Mo.) and I have a bit of a problem. The phone with CM12 or any other ROM seems to have faulty problems. Videos cause me to freeze, I reboot at random, so I am wondering if it is something to do with the firmware or kernel. The phone is refurbrished, which I will never do again, trust me :D but I am unable to find any kernels, do they just come with the ROM's out there? I would like a 5.1.1 ROM, but every ROM I try has the exact same problems, freezing at random or rebooting. Right now my S4 is completely wiped, everything. I just need to know what to install and do, thank you for letting me know anything.
(There's just so much variety to choose from and I really don't know what will fix it.)
I think NK2 is the best currently but I am unaware, I got a S6 edge Plus and I am trying to fix this old phone for a family member.
